Remy Human Hair is the highest quality of human hair that is a preferred choice for hair extensions, hairpieces, and wigs, because it achieves the most natural look and last longer than non-Remy hair. It is considered to be the finest quality of human hair because the cuticles are kept intact and not stripped, like in most other Non-Remy hair extensions. Preserving the hairs’ cuticles and aligning them in a unidirectional fashion creates extensions that are completely natural in appearance. This process ensures that the hair remains super soft, shiny, silky, and completely tangle-free throughout its lifetime.

It is a common misconception that Remy is a brand name applied to some hair extensions. The term Remy is used to describe extensions where all the hair cuticles are aligned in the same direction (roots at the top of the weft and ends at the bottom) just as your natural hair is already. Virgin hair is used to describe hair that has not been chemically processed in any way. It’s free from any chemicals such as relaxer, perm, silicone, or color dyes.  There has been no damage to the cuticles or the true structure of the hair.

Hair extensions made from human hair can be dyed, heated (curled or straightened), styled, washed, and treated like your own natural hair. Hair extensions made from synthetic hair are sensitive to the sun, don’t last as long as human hair, are difficult to style, and cannot blend in as well with your real hair.

Currently, we offer “virgin” Remy human hair extensions. All of the hair used to create our extensions, closures, frontals, etc. have been collected by human donors, all cuticles are aligned from root to tip, and has not been chemically processed, except for our Bronze Crown collection Russian hair has been chemically processed to achieve the color.

The lifespan of Glamorous Crown Collection extensions are determined by how well they are taken care of. The lifespan of our Bronze Crown hair extensions is 6 months to a year depending on how often they are worn and how well they are taken care of. The lifespan of our Gold Crown, Silver Crown hair extensions lasts up to 12 months or more depending on hair care. The lifespan of our Platinum Crown hair extensions lasts up to 2 years or more depending on how you take care of it. Please remember that excessive heat and/or color can result in the reduction of its natural pattern of the hair.

Note: The longevity of your Glamorous Crown Collection hair primarily depends on the. daily and overall care provided to the hair.

Raw hair is hand cut from one donor (young girl) with all the cuticles aligned and intact in one direction which prevents tangling and matting.

Typically, most bundles will be received in a natural brown (1b). Considering, each bundle is collected from an individual donor, some bundles may vary in darkness or lightness. We will always try our best to pair bundles with its matching variation.

Yes, you can dye your hair. We recommend that you have an experienced Stylist dye your hair to match the color that you desire.

Any hair that has been manufactured and stitched onto a weft is entitled to experience minimum shedding. However, to prevent any and all shedding we recommend applying weft sealer along the track of each bundle of hair upon the installation. This will assist in preventing shedding.

Each bundle of hair weighs 3.5-4 ounces. The longer the length of the hair, the shorter the length of the weft. Shorter lengths of hair have longer weft lengths.

No, Virgin hair is distinct and no two heads of hair is exactly alike. Our photos are meant to give you a good idea of the texture and color. Due to the natural nature of our hair, we cannot guarantee that each bundle will be of the same color or wave/curly texture. This should be assurance that you have purchased REAL Virgin hair.

Yes, because Glamorous Crown Collection hair is 100% natural human hair, you may flat iron, blow-dry or dye hair. We will recommend that you reduce the amount of heat used on the hair to prevent damage. After a wash, we prefer that you air dry your hair.

We advise that you don’t cut your weft, unless you absolutely need to. If you do cut your weft, tell your Hair Stylist to seal your weft to reduce shedding.

Platinum Collection: You need 2 bundles for a full head. For lengths 20 inches and longer, we recommend 3 bundles. All our other Collections: You need 2 bundles for a full head.
